Weird.. edited my look just a small bit, and the makeup and lips were fairly subtle and not too noticeable.. then once I get ingame, both are wayyy more noticeable and kinda different color x_x lips had a nice natural look in the creation screen, now they're kinda glossy black.. ick.. oh well
Also the opening video for whatever reason, had the top half of the screen completely black.. wonder what that was about.

The error is stated as something like "the opening sequence is improperly displayed".

Yeah, kinda hope they let us 'respec' once more.
When you do your character, be sure to take advantage of the various backgrounds. Since this is the beta, create a new char... go out in the world and only if you like it... go back and redo your main (save the earlier 'build').

On the plus side, you will get a character recreation potion as a reward for paying 30 days subscription.

You get the feeling 'this' will be just the beginning? Although, I quite trust SQEE to limit this to cosmestic items.. not like a bag expansion or something.

Last I heard the barbershop will be limited to hair and makeup options but readily available.
