Heya, just wondering, how do I go about downloading the beta for the ps3? my main comp is kinda dead atm.
Also wondering.. if a friend buys the PC version, can he still download and play the ps3 version? if i bought the original collectors edition.. can I play on ps3?

They are mailing out codes for the PS3 client now. But only to those who applied to be a PS3 tester. If you haven't, apply now even if you are a PC tester.
As in FFXI its the account, not the platform. Also as in FFXI its easy to find the PC client, but not so for the PS3 client. Your friend needs to apply to the PS3 beta too. No concept if the physical disk will be needed for the PS3 after launch.

You have to buy a PS3 version to play on the PS3, SE stated that outright as they didn't sell the Ps3 version for 1.0.
Right now if you got in beta for PS3, the download/registration is broken and they are working on it.
