Anyways was in my first Corsair party yesterday and huzzah another Corsair was in it too, 3 Corsair rolls for us (lv12) although the party had problems was still quite fun but that's besides the point.

So start of a fight both myself and the other Corsair do Phandom Roll, we both roll 6. Then we both Double Up and low and behold both roll 6 again great start to the figth with 2 busts but what are the odds?! Well I'll tell you and anyone with minimal understanding in probability can work it out
chance to roll a 6 is 1/6
chance to roll two 6s (Bust) is 1/6 x 1/6 = 1/36
chance to roll two Busts in a row is 1/36 x 1/36 = 1/1296 talk about unlucky
Can also view it as rolling four 6s in a row which would be (1/6)^4 which is obviously the same answer 1/1296

sounds like bad times for you but anyway if you got them off that would of gave you alot of extra exp and even better if you had the exp ring on

I used my ring that day, it hadn't worn after I went to bed so the next day I did some soloing and only took a few mobs for the effects to go

That other COR said she was the unluckiest COR heh, think we both have a pretty bad track record for that to happen
