Cool Widgets!

I was looking through the widgets for Tiger and I found some cool ones i'd share

A widget that displays all the vital data any Final Fantasy XI Online player would need. While I do love the MP clock this one is right on my desktop, which is an advantage.

"Family Guy" random quote generator. Thanks to this bad boy, I can check my e-mails before I head off to work and get a good laugh. They also have them for Futurama and The Simpsons but I found this one makes me laugh the most.

It takes what you type and reorders it in they way Yoda would say it. Also, if you've set a "Voice" for the computer it'll say it. I took my laptop to a friends house and they drained the battery playing with this and we all were loling the whole time.

A must for any Netflix user, it displays the movies that you either have at home or are on the way. Now if only someone would make one of these for GameFly...

David Letterman fan that missed the "Top Ten?" This widget will display it for you. Another one my Roomie loves. He's a Letterman fan and sometimes he falls asleep early and forgets to record Letterman. Me? I'm a Conan kitty.

Shows movie times at local theaters. Beats hassling with Fandango or buying a newspaper.

These look great. Happen to know of a good widget handler program for Weendoze or Linux?

Sorry, I don't. I know that there are programs out there that will allow you to install Mac OS X inside of Windows but a friend tried it and he said it takes a good weekend and Mac OS runs S-L-O-W when used this way.

I have, it doesn't support the mac widgets listed in the first post by Keavy.

Fweeeeep! It's a good to day to own a Mac.

I'll be puting some of these on my Baby Powerbook tonight.

I haven't had a chance to look through the latest widgets so I'm glad you highlighted a few.

Those are the ones I found that I like and use on my laptop (Which I use when playing FFXI if the battery is charged) otherwise I'm on my iMac (Long story as to why I have 2 PC's) which is running Panther and since I'm too cheap to upgrade the iMac's OS no widgets.

Sorry those widgets won't work on Windows.

A friend of mine said that I could make my own GameFly widget similar to the Netflix one if I got the source for the Netflix one so I'm gonna try it. Hope my Unix skills are good enough.[/i]
