Now for something completely different:

My fav female race is Mithra, followed closely by Hume. I absolutely fell in love with Mithra when I was researching ffxi to choose who I wanted to be. To me, they were the most playful and had the most flexibility when it came to job choices (I know, most ppl would say Hume has the most flexiblity there). What really sealed the deal was watching the model Mithra roll around and play in the "Choose your race" animation when creating a character.

I like the Hume Female model too, SE did a fantastic job designing both Mithra and Hume females. Everything looks good and doesn't seem wrong when looking at them. Which I still have problems with when looking at Elvaan females, even after 66+ days of game play.

The last comment was in no way meant to insult anyone else's preference of Elvaan females

The taru females are adorable...but then I find the taru males to be just as cute^^

For you to just post stuff like that in anger w/o any explanation is rude.

I'm assuming that you were angry at something off-line and had to let that anger out. We've all done that, but please if you need to rant create another thread or even a blog and let that be your outlet.

Posts like the one you made earlier is whats made people frustrated when talking to you.

Its alot easier to prevent any hasty actions/statements that you'll only regret later.

I couldn't have said it any better myself! I had a game guide about 2 months before I got the game. I had tons of research time, and I'd say I basically fell in love with the mithra. Nothing else seemed to really fit me.

Taru? Cute, but I never got into the whole full-spellcasting thing.

Hume? Boring...who wants to be normal?

Elvaan? They can be awesome, but a full-power hack'em slash'em thing just aint my style

Mithra: Cunning, playful, curious, happy, dexterous. Just what I always wanted to be!

Also this goes without saying.....MITHRA ARE HOT!!! Who doesnt want a catgirl by their side?

That being said, I mean nothing against any of the other races. They're all good at their own thing, and their own personal strengths and weaknesses are what make vana'diel interesting.

That's the best part! Tarus are the cutest!!!! I'm a roleplayer! I always make friends with tarus...they just love me and I love them

I'm not even going to start with Mithra, I mean... I don't know why I'd be playing one if I didn't like them. My only gripes is that they could've done a bit better on their little voice effects. I still have no idea what kind of sound my Mithra is trying to make when she swings her weapon. Well, their katana stance could use some work too, or maybe just a baseball to swing at.

My other favorite though is the Elvaan females. I personally see something elegant in them. All of their movements seem relaxed or just sorta... regal. Of course, that also sorta makes them seem less fit as warriors. Even so, they're always nice to look at.

Hume females are fine, I don't really know what to say about them except I think they're a little too skinny and small, but so are Mithra.

The way we walk.....

We have a sexy walk. The Elvaan girls have a feminine walk, the move their shoulders more than RL girls, but then they do have more shoulders to move. The Hume girls walk like drill sargents. Taru duckywalk.

As to facial features, we range from cute to pretty. Humes renge from blandly atractive to pretty. The Elvaan range from blandly atractive to drop dead beautiful, although you may need a ladder to get the right perspective. Taru, boys and girls, range from cute to cuter....
