Neat trick, although it sounds like you did not have the time for it. Boot and reinvite someone. Yeah, we figured that out eventually... on subsequent tries, with other DRGs we'd have them leave and come back into the zone so they can lot on, say, a mana ring that they've already passed on. Tyni and I both have one now that we use and they are EX, so we cannnot get any more... I usually watch my HP and run away when it gets low, especially if Besieged has been going on for a while. Don't want to die just as they retreat 
What the hell kinda server you got on Bahamut? On Phoenix the lag is so bad during Besieged that when I die its like one minute I'm standing there healing people then the game lags then next thing I know, I'm dead. Heh, I've tried to do this myself with Great Sword. Spinning Slash > Wing > Ground Strike = Distortion.
