Interesting.
I like the way tails behave in XI's casting animations.
But as I am only CON 8 here I haven't really looked at our tail casting animations.
Eva has all casting careers to 10 - 16 but no tail.

Our ears boggle less too, /welcome had the boggling in XI but now I think the only boggling is from drinking something, I do like how they pin back when /shocked. /stretch should have the tail stand up too, they missed that one.

They did rework them all... all in a futile attempt to prevent me from grabbing my tails!
But look at the /emotes for all the other races. A side-by-side comparison... not sure why it does seem as things have become both simpler and sleeker, so to speak. But what was taken away, they replaced with other things... like how how the character reacts overall... including looking at things... I do miss my old /comfort... it aims too high now. Alas for your cats, I've had to resort to my /bothpawsgrabthenbite command.
I do miss the boggling though... although perhaps some people found it creepy to find a whole clutter of tarus boggling in sync? (Ever notice that there is a random discrepancy in the timing so it doesn't happen all the time? Now that's attention to de-tail!)

Yeah, from a GTX460 to a GTX8800, roughly a 1/3 reduction. Anything you buy now that's not a phone, tablet or made for Apple, should match the 8800 at least.
But afaik, it didn't affect the emotes. The changes we're complaining/commenting about were already in 1.x, we're just caterwauling about the old FFXI /emotes. Just like how some special cats have colour tipped tails, the better to aim for.
At least we still have our mithra /angry ^-^

So I was levelling up LTW... and for some reason, I wore headphones/etc... and the sound was really bugging me until I remember the above...
