I went to a local thrift store looking for video game oddities. I collect them and sell them on ebay, like intellivision boxed systems, etc. Well I found a disc case that said "PlayStation 2" on it, still sealed in it's wrapper. What was it you ask? The Network Adapter disc that comes with the Slim PSTwo. Since it's network adapter is internal (BOOOOOO! I like the original with the battleship addons! (Genesis Analogy)), I assume this disc came with it. It's version 4.0 and A BLUE BACK DISC TO BOOT!
Sony stopped producing Blue Back Discs when they found out how crappy they worked and switched to silver backs. But the system discs never changed. Not worth much now, but a nice piece to my PS2 Collection. Photographs tomorrow morning when my digital camera recharges.
