true... How very very true. I knew i'd bounce around before finding which job i wanted to level for endgame. So i wasn't going to pick the specialized races. So that left Hume and Mithra. Mithra you have to balance the advantages of the race with fending off raving phanboys, but i found it's worth the occasional tail chasing.

10. A Mithra, Hume, Galka, Elvaan, and Tarutaru are stranded on a desert island. Who gets eaten first? Galka have high STR so the meat's likely to be nice and juicy. Elvann have high VIT, so it's gonna take too long to cook them. TaruTaru's are so small they won't even satisfy an eithopian. Mithra are too wirey and stringy to eat. So, humes or galka would prolly be the meal of choice.

Well, okay, not so much a dread pirate. But I have tried my hand at pirating on the not-so-open lake waters with the dorm.

How many hours a day do I play FFXI? Not enough. Havn't counted, but I've got a dial-up connection, so I can only do so much online at once.

Pets? I'd love to have a few pets, but I can't where I'm living.

And yes, I am a guy. Although I like to think that I have enough cat in me to make up for missing out on the girl half of Mithras.

Age? I'll be 22 next month. Yay. ^^

Currently RDM 40 and SMN 28; going to concentrate on RDM, maybe bring SMN up to the post-forty levels after I hit the cap with RDM. In a year or so.

Hmm... free time... I have that? I work a lot of hours in a week, but when I have time off, I RP; I'm an RP addict (and am RPing on a telenet MUD even as I type this. ^^;)

Why did I choose Mithra? I'm a cat. Almost went Elvaan, but... ended up Mithra, and havn't regretted it once. Perfect stats for RDM, and they look damned good, too.

Bah, everyone here is always so whiny about the rain. I've lived here six years now, and it's never as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Okay, it rains a good amount, but last weekend, as an example, was wonderful.

As I come from the East Coast, IMHO, it hardly EVER rains in Seattle, but it does drizzle an aweful lot.

NY, NY, 1600 - 1800 hours of sunshine a year, ~ 76 inches of rain a year.

Seattle, 1000 hours of sunshine a year, 50 - 56 inches of rain a year.

If you dislike sunshine, this is THE place to be. I have several friends who fled here from sun spots just to get away from that feirce blazing orb in the sky.
