How exactly do Dispensing Tanks work? o.O

So im looking for the BEST way possible to solo the avatar primes, (fighting solo) and so far I've attempted Ifrit, & Ramuh, got close on Ramuh, his health was down to 50% with no items to heal with when it came down to it.

Anyway, this is my question, in the auction house very rarely I see dispensing tanks in stock for all jobs @ level 1. Like Water tank, ether tank, potion tank...how do these things work? How do I use them in a macro, and are they rechargable? or is it a one time use, im trying to purchase wisely to prepare for the upcoming fight, and yes ive already stocked yagudo drinks.

Any information on how these items function would be GREATLY appreciated.

Each time you use them it puts a potion in yourrr inventory and drains a charge. Once the charrrges are used up, the only way to recharge them is to resynth it I am afrraid.
