My LS beat Jorm last night on its first attempt. The last 30 mins of that fight are soooooo frustrating. Took about 2.5 hours with ~25 members... We have like 52457843908 BLM in my LS, but they all play other jobs. I want to manaburn something one of these days...

But, I digress.

My ToAU group has failed the final fight now for about 8 times, does that count?

Eyes On Me is bullsh*t!

Also I got a new 23" HD ready TV in my room now

What setup are you using?
To make this fight a bit easier is to have enough stunners to stun eyes on me.
If you lack stunners it might be advisable to store your TP for stunning weapon skills.
Having a Blue mage for this fight works wonders.

Another help would be having your tank equip as much Magic defense bonus gear and/or (Magic) damage taken -% and have your healer on his/her toes.

Also I got a new 23" HD ready TV in my room now 360 looks teh sweet (at last).

We went in NIN DRK SAM COR(me) RDM BLM so we have 2 Stunners and 3 Sleepers. Our RDM had reasonable success with Sleep but our BLM and myself not so much

I think we'll have to make our SAM use Tachi: Hobaku as well.

I've only witnessed 360 on HD a few times but so nice to have it for myself in my own room now

Also my TV has a digital decoder built in so I get more than the usual 5 channels now

I would certainly recommend a white mage in the setup, even if only for shell V.
After Raubahn you'll be fighting Razfahd and after that Alexander, good cure power is certainly recommendable and in my opinion a white mage is a better healer then a red mage for this fight.

Having the sam use Hobaku is good too, I also recommend the nin to use a sword on his main hand for Flat Blade.
Stunning his Eyes on me as much as you can is the key to winning.
Also you'll want to keep everyone that can stun, including the BLM hasted.
Just be weary of the time, because you only have 45 minutes to kill him, Razfahd and Alexander.

The setup I went with was PLD, BLU, BLM, DRK, RDM, WHM (ME).

Only our BLM has WHM leveled so if she swapped we'd be without a second Stunner

Our only real problem is Eyes On Me, especially with Azure Lure on. We plan on Sleeping him when he uses Azure Lure and after each time we "kill" him, hopefully that'll buy us a little time to recouperate.

Yes I did.
Still needed that ring for my Physical damage reduction/defense built for Dynamis pulling, soloing and (H)NM tanking.
Just a few items left like Shadow Ring, Defending Ring and Arhat's Jinpachi +1.

Also the Jelly Ring is also about 100% droprate.

Pusznboots beat Ouryu Cometh today.

Took two runs (First one was a "WTF do we damage him with?!?") and the second was just keeling him.

We went with Diabolos burn, and finished him with 1 minute and 58 seconds to spare.

Also, I made it to Corporal rank today =D

Now 5 more rank ups, and then I get to chase after Captain.

Fun fun weekend.

Finally got my next rank back in WotG- Iron Emblem again yay!

Stopped being lazy and finished leveling my last two mules to 5-

the anniversary band- for the lottery. I have to say, this lottery has been worth it if only for the spring cleaning I've been forced to do on my mules. Its been ages since I've gone through some of the storage.

Finished questing/hunting coffers for the rest of my RDM AF that I've been requesting for the past two months. My usual duo partner was busy in dynamis Sunday so I took down the two NMs for the Chapeau on my own- I know they're both stupidly easy NMs to solo at 75 but he likes to feel useful

IMO WotG has been worth its weight in gold with the Maw travel (especially for GC) but the lycopodium ledge warp memory things?

My Limbus shell had the night off last night 'cause of the holiday so Lodiont and I went coin farming with two friends and had the worst luck on NE. First the NIN forgot his soap so we had to wait for him to go back to town and come back, losing 10 minutes and then we just had a series of bad pulls and just all around bad timing.

Only were able to get 6 coins but we had fun anyway and are definitely planning on going back when we have the free time. Despite the bad luck I was able to finish my coin collection and get the very sexy loq. earring^^
