Halo Foul Up?!

Guess what, I found out my disc was scratched after playing Halo 3 multiple times (Apparently it was scratched when I bought it.) Now microsuck says "Well if you didn't see it before you used it, we cannot replace the disc under the Halo 3 disc replacment policy."

You know, Mr Gates, you and you're idiots can kiss the furriest part of my a...... *ahem* So what's a cat to do, other then pay for disc repair now ;;

Although, I think your system has a case of the gremlins and eats up discs.

Return it to the store where you bought your copy.
If the store has a single clue on customer service they could at least provide you with a new disc.
Unfortunately it's not an obligation but who knows, maybe they will.

I hate gamestop. specially the one I go to... "It may take 6-8 weeks to get a new copy to do an exchange with." what you can't send it back to microsoft/bungie's distribution center and swap?

I think this was an issue mentioned on some game site where many copies of Halo 3 were shipped scratched. I don't think there was a solution for it though other than Microsoft laughing at you.

I've heard the design of the box is what scratches the discs and leaves 33% unplayable.

Isn't it the general policy of many places to not replace something after it's been used? I mean, sorry about your bad luck and all. But I think it is your luck to blame and not their replacement policy.

too bad the scratches were hard to see :O I checked that disc (I always check game discs, when I bought MGS3 Substance, konami shipped a few bad discs and I got one of 'em) I should have known when the game started glitching.

Either way, gamestop is being a pain in the rear "There is no problem with faulty discs, Microsoft would have said something if there was." Oh really? thats only why its on the xbox website xD

FYI a little tip on disc scratches.

So long as the scratch is not into the Data part of the disk, Turtle wax (not polish) will fix most any CD by filling in the scratches and leaving a shiny surface.

side note about game stop in general:
:arrow: the employees are allowed to borrow new games from the store for free for 3-5 days & still sell them "new" not used.
When buying from gamestop, get a brand new game still in the shrinkwrap.
If it has been opened at all, more then likely it has been played.
