I do my best to annoy both sides of the spectrum. People who only want English people, and people who only want JP people.

Now, I get bored in Whitegate... alot. Now that I've done a ton of sh*t. So, I see someone shouting a PM mission in japanese and see that he's 1/6. So I send him a /tell.

So, I paused for a moment, and remember I have something that the japense bastard would like. ((P.S. The "Thats too bad." Auto-translate feature is what ticked me off))

Ya, the pure-language group people are missing out. We have some great JP members in our dynamis/sky shell. And, I did 8-3 and 8-4 with a pure JP group. I just needed BC for 8-3. They needed some runabout for 8-3 and the rest. At one point, my cable provider decided to cut the cable connection for 20m.

The JP group was *still* there when I got back, killing things and making it safe for my return. Damn nice people. 'Course, I was the only one with them that knew the way and knew the strategies for the kill, but they were really good players that v.quickly grasped the strats needed via pigeon-translator.

Once I asked a JP person did they need a Drk for a lvl 60 party. He replied with JP onry and went off with his newly formed JP group. Feeling a bit dissapointed I changed over to RDM and wandered around Bhaflu Thickets farming Kindred seals when to my surprise I found his entire party dead. He sent me a tell responding "Raise can I have it?" I replied "Im sorry. Japanese I dont know." Luckily for him I had a soft spot for his party seeing as they probably werent the ones being an ass about it, so I raised thier Whm and went back to farming seals.

I seriously want to know why I keep getting party invites in Japanese.

Does Keavy sound Japanese or have some meaning in Japanese?

I always respond in English and they say "(Japanese only)"

So I keep talking to them in English.

I used to get invites in JP ALL the time. And when I'd respond with "{I'm sorry.}{I don't speak Japanese.}, {Party}?" I never got an answer. Pissed me off something royal I tell ya. I think that was part of what made me lose my grasp of wanting to bother with JPs for exp anymore, which kinda sucks. I've met some damned nice JPs on occasion.

If I was you and a WHM. Here's what I would have done.

R1ed his ass, and then R3ed their WHM.

He'd probably lose a good 1k in the deal.

Time to learn some fundamental Japanese methinks :lol: Best thing would probably just to reply with {Yes, please.} then don't say anything in the part, ever :lol:

I was in a JP party once, told them I knew a bit of Japanese and they wouldn't stop talking to me in Japanese and all I could reply with was "sumimasen, wakarimasen." (I'm sorry, I don't understand.) :lol:

Its one thing to understand a bit of Japanese in the Roman alphabet, and quite another to be able to understand it in theirs.

Personally, I know ~ 500 Japanese words. Maybe two are useful here. I can't spell either of them.

Oh no I told them I only knew romanji, I obviously can't read kana or kanji and know all of like 5 kana (3 of which being my name).
