Viva Pinata is a hard habit to break.

It started with a simple download. I saw the demo up on the XBL Marketplace and thought "Why not?" Next thing I know I've rented Viva Pinata. Now I own it. Now I can't get enough. I hit GameFaqs up four or five times a day for tips on how to tweak my garden to get the Pinatas I'm missing and for tips on how to romance the ones I have.

I'm close to my fifth Master Romancer award, have tamed seven of the eight Sour Pinatas, and have already logged at least 18 hours total playtime with well over thirty of the fifty achievements unlocked. I have raised every plant to full maturity with Bonus growth and I know I won't be able to stop until I have every Pinata and have achieved Master Romancer status for every last one.

*Sigh* And I thought FFXI was addictive!

Is this by any chance based on the Saturday morning cartoon about the piñatas?

The game? Yeah. The cartoon actually has tips worked into the storyline that help you out if you play the game. I've never watched the show because I'm usually asleep or hung over when it comes on.

P.S. 74% completion on achievements. I'm getting there! I may quit for a while at 98% because that would only leave the 50 hours of play achievement and honestly, I can't stay away from FFXI that long.
