XBox(360) and PSx use specific accessories for special games.

It makes the game that much more expensive but for everything else the standard controller is spot on.

thats the best thing about the Wii, for the most part you dont need accessories :p the Wiimote (yes this is its name) can act as a sword, gun, steering wheel, fishing pole, ect. useing two Wiimotes opens even more doors (not useing nunchu atatment)

and playing FPS on Wiii will be alot easier then on other systems, the Wiimote will act like a mouse for looking around ^.^

I can see it being very annoying but will have to wait and see. My point being only a few games need accessories where the rest are just dandy with a standard controller.

A lot of bands turned them down for the first game. Where's Metallica, Iron Maiden, Guns & Roses, Dire Straits, Queen, Kiss etc.?

Now that the first game is a big success and everyone knows what Guitar Hero is all about more bands will allow them to use their songs. The original had 40 songs from "major names" the next game will have 50.
Another cool thing they're doing with GH2 is allowing the 2nd player to play rhythm and/or bass whilst 1st player plays lead (or visa versa).
A must buy for any PS2 owner IMO but I'm going one step further and buying a real electric guitar + amp & goodies (cheaper than getting PS2 + game)

oh ok I see what you mean now, well that is where the classic controller comes in, it has the same amount of buttons a PS2 controller has, and alot of Wii games will use it too instead of the Wiimote, like Super Smash Brothers Brawl

It is common knowlege that consoles are more expensive to make, than the selling price. Also, you DO NOT own the console you bought, they still own it. What you are paying for is the rights to borrow the use of the machine. I know the thing about not owning the machine is stated on the 360 box, I wanted to scan it as proof.

This sounds like typical Micro$oft stuff to me. I've never seen anything like that on packaging for any other console.

It's probably so that they can take legal action against people who mod them to play import/pirate games.

Read the fine print sometimes. You may be shocked by what you get into just opening the package.

Same thing with music. Its like the people who sell an index card with their POL ID and Password on eBay. Basically you're buying a shiny plastic disc and case, which you own, but the stuff on it belongs to someone else.

Personally I don't like using windows. But nothing cool is available for Mac, so meh.
