Hmm, few things this could be. If this were an honest to god mechanized suit, this is a good first step towards construction mecha. And those are a step away to MechWarrior type mechs. ^.^ But I see no website or company logo, and mechs are pricy things to build. And though it looks official, somewhere in the back of my mind is saying fake somehow.

I do like however that it appears the feet have some kind of roller system under them, which fixes alot of problems associated with hip movement and turning. When you're standing in place and you want to turn, you twist partly at the ankles. It's alot easier though to put wheels under something then to design load bearing ankle actuators.

Halo 3 E3 *OFFICAL* Announcment Trailer

Being a -huge- Halo fan, I am totally psyched. This game has done things for Microsoft all console makes hope to do. They have a game series that has actually made people go out and buy the console for the sole purpose of that game alone, and later on they get interested in other game for that console.

Halo's story line was written by people who wrote plays and movies for a living. The musical score was done by orchesta's and written by accomplished composers. The weapons and vehical designs were done up by ex-millitary. This game is my Jesus.

I suppose one of the reasons I like this game so much actually is a good friend of mine actually own it and we co-op our way through the game. In fact, in celebration tonight of having heard about Halo 3, I think we're gonna co-op our way through Halo's one and two. (On Legendary and Heroic difficulties respectively. We tried Halo 2 on Legendary, not even God himself is that good....)

You're right. I'm more impressed that the cars just kept driving by. The "suit" itself isn't that impressive coming from an EE background. Its just like building a small project bot on a large scale and bigger budget.

Ok, ok, bad choice of words. Yes, that is a giant amalgamation of metal, plastic, and assorted hydraulics. But to me, for some reason...it just seems too clean, too neat. I admit it's real, but it doesn't feel real if ya get my meaning.

I think what Evi means is there's nothing showing this is anything like an actual prototype that would be funded by a government/corporate agency. It does have an air of somewhat seeming too clean for it's own good, like it was specifically put together just for that video.
