He raked in $5,000 when he made it to the championship in South Korea. He didn't win however. Grand prize was something like $30,000.Sugami wrote:Hehe he's got talent, maybe if he did it on the proper dance floor he still wouldn't be a virgin
One of the comments I read about it
"that's pretty amazing, but I feel bad that he didn't spend that time becoming skilled at something useful"
We don't have Pump It Up over here, what's the difference?
He did a product endorcement for Sony PS2 which netted some cash.
He also has a large female fanbase...

Not bad for something worthless.

The main difference is Pump It Up has 5 arrows and has korean based music while DDR has 4 arrows and japanese based music. In my experience playing both, Pump It Up seems more of a dance based game while DDR is more of a stepping based game.Sugami wrote:We don't have Pump It Up over here, what's the difference?

Eh... they both have arrows to step on how can one be more "dance based" than the other? 5 arrows, each diagonal and one in the middle?Camu wrote: The main difference is Pump It Up has 5 arrows and has korean based music while DDR has 4 arrows and japanese based music. Yes to each diagonal and one in the middle. By more dance based, I meant the steps flow together alot better than they do on DDR. In DDR, its like you are madly running in place. Also to me, it seems easier to freestyle on pump it up rather than ddr because the steps flow together better. Thats just my opinion though.Sugami wrote:Eh... they both have arrows to step on how can one be more "dance based" than the other? 5 arrows, each diagonal and one in the middle?Camu wrote: The main difference is Pump It Up has 5 arrows and has korean based music while DDR has 4 arrows and japanese based music.
