Chevy's is my fave. Best Mexican restaurant ever. They have this awesome platter where you pick the entree or entrees (Yes, you pick what you want and how many) and over the last couple years I have had every entree at least once and they're all awesome, plus they have a huge selection of Mexican beer and they give you free salsa and delicious fresh-made chips.

I rather prefer local restaurants usually, though chain restaurants like Sushiland (best cheap sushi ever) and Chevy's are good too.

Chevy's is good! And I can't stand most Mexican food that I, or a family member, didn't make. (home cooked FTW!!!)

An even better pizza place is Luigi's on Stockton Blvd. Be warned though: Sacramento PD won't go near Stockton Blvd. without SWAT and it is advised that you don't leave your car unattended if you plan on driving FROM the restaurant.
