Maybe I'm nuts, but I've had an idea. o.o;

Alright, I'm one of those people who loves to pull quotes from stuff. However, seeing as my memory isn't always the greatest, I fall short on that sometimes. I had a really odd thought one day tho, to copy down all the quest/mission text in FFXI. Only problem being, I didn't have this idea until AFTER I'd already gone through and opened all jobs and gotten Rank 5 in Windy. XD

So I'm curious really, since I'd thought of doing this and putting it up on a site somewhere, what anyone else thought of the idea? Just a way to pull up the script of the game, so to speak.

Oh, and before someone mentions it, I've no clue how to hack the .DAT files to pull the text for anything, so that won't work...at least not for me. ^^;

The game has its fair share of obsessed fans, so I'm sure someone has pulled the scripts. I don't know of any site posting the scripts from all the various missions/quests, but this site:

goes through all of the missions in story form. Nation, Zilart and CoP missions as well as some of the back story in all of them.

Its not the entire script word for word but its pretty much all there as far as I've gotten in Windy/Zilart/CoP missions.
