Cats!

how many cats do you own? i have 6, 3 are kittens and they always try to kill each other its funny to watch them,their so cute!^.^ i like dogs too...but im a cat person -meow-^^ is it true that cats don't care about people? i thought it was neat that the egyptians used to woship cats wasnt one of their gods a cat isis right?

Bastet was the cat goddess I believe. ^^

And I've got 3 cats runnin around my house. One full-grown kitty named Sandy...who definitely has some Siamese in her. XD

And there's the 2 kittens, who aren't really kittens anymore, but they're probably always gonna get called that from when we got them. Starfire's the smaller of the two, Raven the bigger, but for some reason, it's usually Starfire chasing Raven. o.O

One does not own cats. One is privliged to share an abode with them.

I have an older orange cat who is a great hunter. Named Tuscon because he is the same collor as the dirt there. He lives out in the boonies where I am part time and catches things that can hurt my garden. He LOVES dogs and drools.

Bast was the Egyptain cat goddess of health and of the home. Quite popular in fact with Egyptains.

They observed that nasty diseases like the plague would leave certain towns with a high population of cats untouched. The assumed there was some kind of divine connection between that (not the cat's superior vermin slaying abilities) that would "bless" and protect those towns who showed proper repsect to their fellow felines.

As such, it was forbidden to kill a cat in Egypt. Cats were treated as family members and even mummified (at a great expense) so that they could continue to watch over their homes in the afterlife. Some families even shaved off their own eyebrows in morning when they lost their family pet.

Isis (a human goddess) on the other hand is closely accociated with the god of the death/afterlife (birth/rebirth) Osirus. They sort have a yin/yang quality about them. Isis being birth and Osirus being the afterlife (or how the Egyptians looked at it, rebirth).

Four cats, two that are 9yo and 2 that are 2yo. Flicker and Flame are the oldies and Kali and Ashlyn are the young ones

I have one living with my parents.... Shes the goddess of everyone anyway, except me. Cause I feed her. Fluffy gray with a white chest and 19 years old. (plays with string like shes 2.)

I had a soulmate but she passed away in spring 2003.

I'm still sad of course, but at the same time I'm happy she was with me as long as she did - 17 years is a very old age for a cat after all.

I have 2 cats SirDapper and Dunkin

Dunkin is 2 and he is a brown kitty. his fur is such a dark brown people think he is a black cat. he is cute cause he is 2 and still mewls like a kitten

SirDapper(my parents name him

) is 13 and is tabby for the last 10 yrs my parents had him cuz my dad like him and when i moved out on my own they wanted to keep him, but i just got him back 3months ago cuz now theyre movin and they think hes too old for the trip.

I got a kitten a couple months before I started playing this game, but I liked it from watching my fiance play it - so we named her Mithra. She never gets called that though, I call her things like catling and sweetling and my guy calls her fiendling. I love cats, I'm so glad I moved off campus and could get a kitty.
