No leeches?

why is there only leechies in ffxi but not in the others? ;.; *pokes the squishy leech*

could just be something new me thinks. i dont think there are any other mobs like the Mesmeriser from FF8 in any of the others too. its prolly one of those mobs they made as a filler.

and i wonder why theyre called leeches. they dont really look like leeches. more like.. squishy dog-ish looking thingies with really big mouths

but maybe thats just me :3

I did aswell, it was an abandoned swamp my friends and I deicded to use as a paintball field, big mistake. the airboat overturned from overloading the gear ^^:

um.... there is no evidance that St Patrick drove the snakes out, in fact evidance proves St Patrick wasnt even catholic, he was protestant.... my b/f has a bit of irish in him and he's researched it, but i'm more attracted to the seminole.... mmmmrrrrrow~

No I don't think its from animaniacs, but I can't remember where its from either. It buggs me that I can't remember, I know I've heard it somewhere.

OMG I just remembered, its from Finding Nemo (Marlin's forgetful buddy said it refering to a jellyfish).

Leeches are the cutest mob in the game. I actually feel sorry for them when I attack them.

On another note, SE should add Jelly Shoes to FFXI that change your foot step sounds to that of a leech.

There are leeches in other final fantasy games. I have fought them several times in the more tropical dungeons in Final Fantasy 2. Thier normal attack had hp leech and they also had an attack that had some kind of magic drain effect

which makes me wonder why there are no Rhinos in FFXI..

Where do you live kitty? Not many places where Airboats are used. Former Fla Resident myself.

What you did to your arm doesn't even require the paintball. At point blank range air presure alone is sufficent.

Not in the modern sense. No Protestants till Martin Luther. St. Paddy was probably a disident in the eyes of Rome, if not a heritic. Back then all folowers of Christ identified themselves as what we today call Catholic.

In the time of Gegory the Great, (600ish AD? 800ish?) the Irish Cathloc Church sent missionaries to Rome to bring the Church back from their many unChristian practices. I am so sorry it didn't work.

I personally hate leeches and often bring my smns out to play with them in pashow. Ifrit makes good bbq and Shiva is great at Leech Popsicles

I had to kill way too many of those squishy foot cushions for my Carby Ruby. So, as long as they keep spawning, Ifrit will keep making bbq hehe
