Er... I said I followed the directions.

I've already done that... still getting full screen mode. If I hadn't done that, then pol wouldn't launch at all. *shrug*

Just to those who don't already know, using a window minimizer can get you banned if the GMs discover you are using one. So make sure you use it at your own risk.

Before you get all huffity at me I am neither saying it is "right" or "wrong" to use a window minimizer, I'm just reporting the risks of using one.

You just hit Alt+Tab, and it should go into a windowed mode.

Maybe they should add a windowed mode to the game config in one of the upcoming game patches. Obviously there's a big desire for one, and that kind of thing should be left up to the players to decide anyway.

There is a reason why they don't. They have said in the past that they wish FFXI to remain non-windowed to avoid hackers using hex-editing programs to dupe items.
