I got one on a key hunt. As a mater of fact everyone on that hunt got one. Not a rare drop.

i did this quest and its got great rewards. i'm sure the earring will go down in value, but when i sold it it went for ~50k

The earring is 50-60K on Valefor, plus you get 3500 gil with it. Its one of the better ear pieces for lower level mages I guess because they all have or want one.

As a 46 THF w/ the Millionare's Desk I got the Ordelle Key and the Tapestry in 1 kill each

now I just have to do the quest
