they dont value individual thought/
i have NEVER been treated so badly in ANY of the linkshells i have been in EVER.
i make a comment and i get jumped on like i have no right thinking differently from other people.

this makes this the worst christmas i have ever had(this and other personal reasons)

Ummm, you made the right comment. If the titan MP is letting in non mithra members then MP should kick them.

Since names weren't mentioned, I'll step forward and take the blame for my half of this.

Luna came onto the shell and made the comment "god people suck" or something to that effect. I hate blanket statements like that, and calmly told Luna that "some people suck", to which he responded "most people suck".
I don't care that he said that I personally don't suck. But if he has met enough people to make the judgement that most people suck, I would be surprised.
I also want to note, on my own defense, I did not attack Luna personally. Only the choice of the incorrect word. It was only after I was called a "fucking whore" that I chose to reaction more sharply.

I'm sorry if this caused problems, and if you wish for me to step down out of the Linkshell, then tell me.

You know, I really don't want Luna to leave the LS. I would prefer not to be forced out either. But like I told Luna during the fight, your life may suck, but you aren't the only one that has had problems. I've got razor scars on both arms, I've been hospitalized, I've been physically abused, and I've been raped. Yes, unpleasant, but instead of bitching and moaning about it, I sucked up and faced it.
No one likes a person that just sits there and mopes about how bad life treats them. I should know...I used to be that way. Take the chip off your shoulder, and enjoy the friends you (seem to) have been making.

and my friends have been ditching me over the stupidest things.

example: in ghelspa outpost, a friend asked me for a raise and i didnt hear the message, they blacklisted me and removed me from their friend list.

try thinking of it a different way. its not the game thats making me depressed, its the people behind the chars that is.

even though this may be a game, the people are real.
if they are asses in game then they most likely are in real life.

people like this are part of my daily life, in game or not.

Y'know, if stuff like that happens, just do what i do. Avoid 'em if you can't stand 'em

It's hard to do in real life, but in this game you can avoid people you dont like. Use invisible status, switch to a different ls to cool down or just turn it off for a while, go do stuff you like to do. Pummeling some weak monsters always helps to blow off some steam.

Folks, I think you all need to step back and look at what Mithra Pride is. We're supposed to be a family. Despite what differences you may have with an individual member, you're supposed to be sisters...

In addition, Listen to teh Wise Cutaru. If you're this upset and depressed about a game, then FFXI won't help you. Go outside, read a book, do something else .THIS IS A GAME. When it ceases to be fun, move on to something else. After all, why play if it isn't fun?

Come on... killing yourselves? This is a solution?? No, come on! You may have had some really rough times, a run of bad luck, debts, family crises, etc... but you're never alone... everyone experiences these things at some point. There are ways of coping with them while also respecting their magnitudes. Running away from these things never solves them, and you continue running until you feel like you have no where else to turn but to the extreme measures you guys are almost talking candidly about. There is no reason for anyone to take a life, theirs or someone else's. Life is precious, and it seems these days people just toss them around like they're expendable. No, they aren't... it's probably the one thing you do have control over to actually make right. It takes effort and will, but you'd be surprised at the things you can overcome if you make up your mind to do so.

Almost sounds like you're trying too hard to be depressed. Why not just give yourself a break... stop trying to make silly mottos about pain and just drop the whole thing? I'm not saying whatever is causing you to feel this way is insignificant or will dissolve overnight, but I can guarantee that doing something about it will make you feel better sooner than reinforcing the current state of mind.
