Nubuo - I really think what you are running into is a CPU issue, maybe just a tad bit of hitting the limits of your video card. As it stands I have to turn off all weather effects, foot step 'trails', and spells from other parties.... ...but when I overclock my CPU from a 2500+ to a 3200+ then I can...

I went from a ATI 7000 card ViVo card (top of the line back then) to my current card and could run at the higher resolutions, but it would bog down during any real 'action' (1-2 frames a/sec near S Sandy AH).
