ive been thinking about starting crafting lately, but i dont know which one i should do
i am into the fishing (lol skill7 so far) its fun none the less
im @ cooking 30, but it doesnt appeal to much to me... seeing as the only thing i can see that can make money at high lvls is sushi
i just need an idea of a craft, be it expensive to level, that can make profit @ 100 with craft
thanks for the consideration
crafting

Two basic things to think about. Durable goods and consumables.
In most durable goods the Gil is in the HQs. Big expensive HQs. Synths that you do not do 5 - 10 of in a day.
In consumables the Gil is in production. Lots of synths, again HQs pay off well, but when you do 20 - 50 of a synth the HQs average out.
Durable goods income is big chunks occasionally. Consumables are a steady income but at lower profit margins.
But why a craft that makes Gil at 100? Cooking, Alchemy, and Woodworking all level to well past 60 making a profit almost all the way.
Then there is combinations of crafts. Clothcraft fletchings and Boneworking arrowheads usually are quite close to the level of Woodworking arrows they make. Leveling those three in parallel is cheaper, or more profitable, than leveling them separately.
As well as the crafts in my siggy, I have alts or mules with Alchemy 83 +3, Clothcraft 93 +3, and most every craft in the 50s. I would happily carry this discussion on to ridiculous lengths.

Of all the crafts, fishing is the one that eats the most time. It is almost 100% pure profit.
