concerning the free HDD and copy of FFXI yet? I haven't heard a peep, and I know we are only about 5 weeks away from the release date. 8)
Can you tell that I am a little anxious? :P :D :wink:

yep havnt heard anything yet but i did get an email about the syphon filter omega strain beta......too bad im busy playing champions of norrath now...and diablo 2....and r type final....yeah u get the point...oh yeah and ut2004 demo

Shadowcat woulda told me if he'd heard anything yet. He hasn't.

Though I've been playin' my fingers off right now with FFX, and I beat Kingdom Hearts (okay, okay, I succumed to temptation finally, even though I'm sharing a memory card with my bro)

AAARRGGHH!! I want my copy of FFXI :cry: Well I do have Star Wars:KOTOR to keep me busy. It was steal at $4.99, of I traded in couple of games but it was worth it :roll:

According to RPGamer, (okay I trust Firemyst and the people he bosses) the retail release date is 03/23/2004. That may be why we PS2 waiters haven't heard anything. Oh well, more time for me to find a job *thrashes the bushes some more*

i'm thinking they may just send it with no notice. they already said before that we'd get it by the release date (if we turned it in on time...). waiting, waiting, waiting. ah well.

still trying to decide on my starting job. between monk and thief... aggh. hard to choose... guess it doesn't really matter too much... and at least a month left so, <shrug>

well its one day away from release yippppppeeeeeeeeee. but about the beta testers free copy thing, some people supposedly got it earlier for ps2 than the release date but there is supposed to be a number to call to see if you are on the list for the free game, or they could e mail you. The beta testers may even get it a week later than the release itself, but I dont know any specific details this is just what i heard.

Anyone know a number or email where I can contact Square? I haven't gotten anything from them, but works spam/virus scanner has been mucking with emails lately so who knows if I actually got an email from Square :P

I've moved since then - and if you've read the email you'll know that all I have to do is call the courier and let them know that.


....I wonder how they shipped it, what company they used, and what tracking number is my package, so I don't have to call every shipper in the continetal US and hope I get lucky.
A flash from the past! ... though it's probably more like a drive-by mooning.

everything i've gotten from them before has been through UPS, so i would guess that would continue. kinda pissed i didn't get it today though...

I am very anxious...almost ready to jump out of my skin. I feel like screaming WHERE THE HELL IS MY GAME!! :evil: but when I think about it, I was never notified that I was in the beta to start with. I'm gonna caqll them tomorrow and see whats up, cause I am a really anxious kitty 8)

Sorry - I forgot to post this.....

I got my HDD today around 4:30pm CST

Sony now has tracking numbers. ( I got off the phone with them 45 minutes before UPS showed up)

And if you updated your address in the GAP before they shipped the HDD...then it goes to your new address.

*sniffs the pretty white box*

I got mine today in New Brunswick Canada (far east). hehe I've been playing PC for months now cause I couldn't wait. The good news is now when I go away on the weekends to visit my gf I can bring the PS2 and still play some ^^

Well I have to wait a little longer for my HDD... :cry: It seems that UPS says that my address is wrong.... :? I need to send Sony my correct address, which I did; so hopefully I'll have it real soon :wink:

Here it is 2 weeks later and still no HDD for me. :cry: Why is Sony doing this to me. :cry: I have called them 3 times and emailed them 3 times and each they verify my address and say that someone from sales & marketing will respond to me. The last thing I heard that I am supposed to get a email with the status of my HDD because of the problems they had with me. :?
