Anyone remember this?

Still got some time before release, February 2014 for us westerners.

Why didn't they call it Final Fantasy XIII-3?

Numbered sequels are so 2000
Also somewhat "interesting" that it's
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII and not
Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns, guess they want to hammer home that point.

Getting close to launch, check out this video. Looks like they've completely changed the whole game essentially. Anyone else excited?

They even put her in Tomb Raider. It's like they are hoping her golden touch will spread joy and profits across their portfolio of less than stellar hits...
Hey! Did SE just succeed in splitting a FF7/FF8 mash-up into three games and making us pay for each... separately?

I got the pre-order so getting the Cloud DLC

Tomb Raider one is pretty cool but won't look as cool as the default ones. Speaking of I still need to complete that game, got it on sale but didn't find it very interesting TBH.

So who's figured out how to use movement in combat effectively?

It's so slow it doesn't seem like you can evade much with it and you want every schema to have a guard of some sort anyways. Also Cloud Lightning is awesome when you got them staggered
Can't say I'm a fan of being a timer the whole time, you can't really explore because of it, which you need to do for most of these side quests, which you really need to do to pimp Lightning.
