Unfortunately you don't get a lot from a first issue, it's a good way of suckering you in to buy more to complete the run. Anyway, the only good comics are the Deadpool ones

Actually the 1st issue either is the origon story or sets up the origin story. But, yes sucker bait.
And 700 + digital 1st issues? A great background resource for any comic fan or nerd.
Has Marvel REALLY had 700 heros and / or villans?

but series have starts as well. as in Daredevil meets Electra.
