I'm a Cylon Cat on the Caprica server. It's surprisingly lag-free, and the f2p 'money' or cubits can be easily earned quickly. Wallet Warriors don't have quite as big an advantage as in other f2p MMOs plus there is 'money' that you can only earn via actions and cannot be bought with RL money. The highest tier of upgrades can only be 'bought' with this kind of money.

Kinda amazing what they can do with <300mb* of download that runs in your browser.


*You only download what you need, starts at 1mb... goes to 12mb.. than 330 more if you visit every location.

My 'cat' can go to 85 in 1s ^-^.

Frankly, I wouldn't be playing it if it wasn't BGO... and it's also PvP. In a MMORPG setting. But at least even the level 1s can run away from the level 100+s easily.

My new ride, for just 45,000 cubits (cubits is the f2p currency, i.e. buy more with RL cash or spend hours mining/etc to get them... since I've played FFXI... guess what I did?) or about 12 hours of mining (which also got me 10 levels so I wonder why people spend RL cash...).

Oh and it's named the Aria II. Aria I is that 'Raider' ship you see in the TV series. But I prefer Aria II. If you look closely, you can see my 'four-paw' paw-print motif I drew on the ship using fresh blood from a Colonial pilot (It's ok, it didn't hurt me at all. The Colonial though... 13 year olds can be so foul-mouthed).

Now... onto Aria III. This kitty will have claws.

Went to the Canceron server. It is located in Europe, so the ping times are better for me too. I pinged all the servers to find this out... idiots...
