Only way to compare starting positions is with multiple starts.

I like to play with the character generator.

Deleted two already.

I've made/started five. Only kept two for more than a day, and only going to be playing one for the rest of the beta I think

That's what edit buttons are all about. Someday before we get deleted, I must edit my characters' info.

You know, it dawned on me that I didn't have to keep restarting everytime I wanted to try a new class..about the 5th delete.

Trying a new class is not the same as trying a new start.

Perhaps it is an old holdover from my go and chess days, but I like to investigate starting positions.

Things I learned doing that : In phase 2 the best starting classes were the DoL ones. DoW and DoM leveled slower, both main and physical, on nothing but levequests. If one started as Archer, Treasures of the Main to completion was an ASAP must.

BTW, we need to pick a server for Beta phase 3.

Yup. I have no preference; I don't mind starting a new cat. At this point it's all fairly arbitrary.

We HAVE to start new cats. All phase 2 characters are wiped.

So its good that you don't mind.

Whoops! Guess I missed the memo; didn't expect that since there wasn't a wipe going into P2.
