I didn't think it worked like this.

It has always been my goal to max Goldsmithing, and due to being fairly casual I don't have the Gil to powerlevel it.
But I like Cooking too, so some time ago I got cooking 68 and Artisan for the apron.
Well I finally hit Goldsmith 68 and went to take the test and get the Goldsmithing Apron knowing full well I would get stripped of my Artisan rank in Cooking. I thought I would get reduced to Craftsman and capped at 68 Cooking.
But NO!!! I was reduced all the way to Journeyman and capped at 60!!!
I think I see a guild test in my future and lots of colored eggs. Again. Cooking 68 + 2 + 3 is just too handy.
