Yea they still do, they also still make a good amount of games for the thing.
Persona 4 as one of the most recent.

My guess is that the PS2 will end up like the Dreamcast, a console for which games will still be made 10 years from now.

Until 2 years ago Sega still serviced it.
Too bad Dreamcast was never a big success outside Japan though.
Even today, even though not on large commercial scale, games and parts are being made for it.

Most do not know this, but the dreamcast was also the very first console that had broadband internet capabilities.
