How to be a Leader

I have heard some very destubing things about my kittens while i was away. I am proud of you all for what you have doen with this website, but very disappointed at all the desention i have heard. Your family, sisters (even the guys are our sisters) to be held firm and tight in a world the strives to rip people apart and tear them down. Your friends and family are all that matter. No wealth no possesion can ever be more importaunt then that.
Leadership isnt easy but not because of what people think it is to entail.
When i created MithraPride i onlyhoped to find aosme nice people, be friends with them and protect them from the cruelty of other people that find thier way to crowds only to torment others. It was that simple. to be friends with anyone who wished to. The hard part of being the was to know when a player had to be thrown out and to stand up to a friend i care for and tell them they had to behave and enforce it. The hardest part of being a leader isnt standing up to others as all can do this it is standing up to those you hold most dear to protect and help them.
I have seen that creve has been chosen leader. She has the potential and the heart, but she still has much to learn. I had time to talk to her much before the beta ended and i taught her some stuff opened her eyes to look at the world differently. Though i didnt get to see how much of it she learned. Remember Creve every one has a mask that they live learn the mask, then learn to see through it, and once you have figured that out help them, do what you feel in your heart to be right to help them. This can be anything from leaving them to strive hard on thier own to giving them the stuff they need but make sure you dont confuse need with want.
A person should be given what they need never what they want. They should always beforced to work some for what they want. Remember i gave away items to the LS as i found them but didnt give away money. There was reason for this. Also the items were given at random so it would never become a garnenty. The LinkShell is a force in it self and when i left was able to survive on its own because I forced out greed cruelty and selfishness. In the end all my kittens were the best of people and i was proud to call them friends and sisters
Finally you can choose to make mithra pride open to all races if you choose it isnt my LS you all have proven yourselves to have truthfully and honestly made it yours and for that i am very very happy with you all. I do think you should keep the quest to earn a linksack because the reasons behind it were importaunt. TO find 5 kittens isnt easy. It is hard. the have the guts to walk up to a stranger, to have the diplomacy and curtisy to talk and deal with that person. The determination to do something that doesnt promote your character or that of another character. the leadership to get them to work together. These and more were the attributes sought after to make someone a linksack holder and a person a more intrigule part of the LS.
When i started the :S it wasnt easy and neither will be restarting it i had to talk to many kittens convince them it was a place they would like to be. I gave up alot of my time i could have spent exping and farming to promote it and more offten then not i was insulted cursed and told to leave. but i stuck at it. I didnt quiet. As more kittens joined and stayed it slowly became easier but still i sat as the sole supporter for monthes because even though there were lots of members none yet were taking it to seriously and wishing to make it part of themselves. I was asked for Linksacks by memebrs but none were intrested i kept at it asking for help but not forcing anyone. Then someone took intrest and decided to do the LS quest. I was happy but i waited to see if the would do it and could do it. They had a hard time but i encouraged them every step of the way. Then someone did it the finished the quest. I was happy. Then others took intrest. I kept encourging more to try. The thing to watch for is though all that got a linksack had the skills and abilites needed to help the group many didnt have the desire to lead the linkshell. The only thing to do was to wait for the people who can be true leaders to arrive. Creve never force some one let them come to you. If I had had more time some of the problems being experienced now would have been settled because i was working on figuring out certain people's desires and who would be best placed as a leader to run mithra pride in my absence. Creve was one person i had in mind but i never thought she would have the initiative to step forward. Seems she has grown and realized some of what exists with her that i saw. Creve i hope your ready for whatyou have volunteered to do. Email me if you have any questions.
