ever since i started the game everything plays perfect but i have always had ONE problem...the avatars are all messed up i can not see full picture pieces of them are missin like transparent horizontal lines going thru the avatars this is only reason why i havent gotten my smn quest done cause it ruins the fun for me if you have any info on how i can fix this PLEASE let me know im thinking of trying a diff resolution hope it works

This sounds like a corrupt data file or a Graphics card issue I would start with updateing my drivers and looking for software conflicts if this all checked ok. I would check the graphics settings in FFXI and make sure that they where set correctly. If all else failed I would reinstall FFXI. With out more information on your system and settings I cant really give anymore suggestions but these are usually the common problems that cause what your seeing.
