Let’s face it, if you come here to cruise the forums, you probably spend a considerable amount of your free time playing FFXI. So during these times of maintenance what do you do when you can't play FFXI?

As for me, I watch an episode of Futurama or some other episode of an animated show and try to log on every 22 minutes even though the maintenance doesn't end for another hour or two.

How about you?

During the last maintenance I went to Mithrapride IRC

While checking PoL every 5 minutes of course.

I tried going to the IRC channel by using the java script, but it didn't work I don't have IRC So, I'm just sitting here, posting and serfing on the web till it finally comes back up. (I actaully have some free time, bummer its on a maitenance day! )

i play Call of Duty... or go into my leatherworking shop to make stuff.

Well, I would have liked to play before work, but darn the maintainence >.<

So, I updated my livejournal and surf the web, hehe.

I'm boring... I work. -.-

when i go on IRC chat room no one is in there its #MithraPride right?

It's on Esper and it is #mithrapride .

As for me? Go read, write (if I had my own compy right now; the powersupply on my compy fried so I'm havin' to use a compy with a broken floppy drive right now. I'm waiting on the replacement) or watch TV. Either that or do chores...or job hunt (too late for THAT tonight, got a interview Friday, wish me luck cats!)

I'm usually at work when they're doing maintenance. ^___^

I'm at work(as always ><) but it is pretty boring...i've played everything from Counter-Strike to Gunbound. Now I'm just walking around teasin the kids. *prods PoL employee's to hurry up*

I work. When I come home I forget I have FFXI installed until I see teh IRC window.

I've been working on programming my own game using Game Maker, so I work on that when I can't play FFXI!

I'll usually play Star Wars Battlegrounds or Pokemon...

Starwars Battlefront is something I've been tinkering around with lately, but even on it's hardest mode I can crush that rebel scum with the mere wave of a blaster....

I also do this weird thing called "school", which I have not heard one person mention yet. ^.^ At home I have a really slow dial-up, but at college I'm on a T1 and whatnot. Needless to say, I abuse it and post like a crazed fiend.

Also, I've recently stumbled myself into having a girlfriend. This is a first for me. I'm suprised at how much free time no longer exists.

ooo Star Wars: Battlefront.....just got that recently....beat everything there is to beat so i took it online....too fun, but i die alot online

when servers were down i played Burnout3 for like 2 hours......and the Fable for an hour or so lol and.....slept =P

I never could get really used to aiming with an analogue stick. I'm sure I would have done better w/ a good ol mouse and keyboard.

I will be starting school in the spring which is why I've been playing FFXI pretty heavily because I know I won't be able to once classes start.

Girlfriend? Good luck with that I can't say I have much experiance in that dept. Most of humanity is very dissimilar to me, and someone of a different gender just increases that by an order of magnitude. That being the case, it's very rare for me to find a girl with whom I can hold an interesting conversation, let alone have a relationship with.

When maintenance I usually play one of my other neglacted games like Star Ocean: Till the end of Time or R-type final.
