I'm retiring.

After many years of playing Final Fantasy XI I'm ready to stop.
The desire I once had is now gone and I don't feel the need to log back in and adventure in Vana'Diel.
That being said anyone who wants my things can have them, free of charge. I'll be selling whatever you don't want in Aht Urghan in a week or so. PM me or hit me up on XBL if you're interested in some free stuff.
The stuff I have is mainly mage gear but I do have some low to mid-level damage dealer gear.
My RSE is the only thing I refuse to part with so don't ask.
Oh, and unfortunately this only applies to people on Phoenix since that's where I am.
As for these forums I'll remain. I love you kids and, well, I can never give you up.

I will sincerely miss you on FFXI Keavy. I want you to know that you were the one who brought me back to FFXI after my leave of absence and the one who kept me playing since then. I wish we could have done some level 75 stuff in the future, and I will miss you when you're not there to help me out on a quest. I would make a montage video for you, but i don't think i have very many images of you and me. The Pheonix server will never be the same with out you.

Man, people are greedy!
I tell ya, if you wanna know who your real friends are say you're quitting the game. The ones that respond with "Can I have your Gil?" or "Whatcha got?" aren't.
So far out of all my FFXI friends that have responded Rish, Bart, and Sunny are the only ones that haven't asked for anything and will receive the most and best from me.
The greedy S.O.B.'s will get whatever is left.

That is quite nice of you, but I care more about your absence in the game than any items you can give me. My FFXI experience just won't be the same without you.

You're not the first person to say that and that has me wondering if I shouldn't just loan out my gear and give this a few months.
I dunno, whenever I turn on my 360 lately I find myself wanting to do deathmatch in CoD4, play through Lost Odyssey, or finish the story in GTA IV.
Maybe over the summer when there's nothing to play I'll get the desire to play FFXI again. I'd hate to have that happen then have to start out with a naked, penniless 75 WHM.

Then all I can say to you now is:
Just deactivate your PoL ID(s), leave everything on your character and if possible put ffxi in a place you won't find it as quick.
Hearing only 2 people are really worth it to give something, they don't need it.
Just keep in touch with them through MSN or something.
I know when I quit, I make sure that everything I own goes with me.

Yeah, I would say if you already gave your friends stuff, just ask that they not sell it maybe? idk, I would just keep it all really and shut off your content id like Sug said. Pretty much everyone I know who quit has come back.

my crackdown disc is damaged ;; my cousin didn't know my disc was sitting on my lost odessy box and before I could say "WAIT!" she sat down and cracked it :3
Also I'm having XBL Connection problems atm, Microsoft damaged my ethernet during RROD Repair and thus they paid to send my system back and repair it for free out of warrenty because they screwed up --;
