Pikmin have infect Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

For gods sake all this time spent on Pikmin could have been put to Geno.

*Expects Japan blowing up due to the sheer awesomeness of Geno anyday now*

I just heard about this from my brother this morning. I have to say that I wouldn't like to see any Pikmin character in SSBB, or atleast not as a playably character. What I think they should have done was use the two main dudes from pikmin and have them function like the Ice Climbers.

It's actually Captain Olimar and some of the pikmin as the character. Tho, who's this other Pikmin character you mention? Or did I miss something by not getting around to playing (aka finding it to buy it) Pikmin 2?

I couldn't remember the guys name and was too lazy to look it up. I was attempting to mention Olimar and the other Character from Pikmin 2.

Could be worse, could be like having Vader and Yoda show up in Soul Calibur 4, oh wait...

That made me chuckle. I can understand why Vader would show up, but Yoda?

Also, wouldn't Vader win just about every fight. He can just Force: Pull you into his lightsaber!

Though, Olimar should make this a bit interesting.

I've heard the biggest issue with Yoda is his size.

Makes him very hard to hit.

Honestly, though...best "Joke" fighter they ever added to Soul Calibur was Link. He and Sophita were my primary characters. Spawn sucked so bad and Heihachi...yeah...not my style. Probably because I never played Tekken or got into it.

Speaking of Soul Calibur IV I heard Cassandra's finally going to be more than just a reskinned Sophita and they're doing away with side-stepping which will be oh so nice. Mainly because it'll screw over my roommate's main strategy

Doing away with side-stepping, eh? Much as I hate it (yes, for some reason, the computer knows how to sidestep EVERYTHING by just that single inch needed, and it ticks me off to no end :x ), I have to admit that without it, SoulCalibur won't be as...well, SoulCalibur-ish. It's like DoA with no exaggerated bouncing of boobs. It doesn't really take away from the game, but you'll definitely notice it. Altho...the lack of 8-way step will definitely be more of an impact on SC than lack of bouncing boobs would from DoA.

Vader and Yoda also disturbs me due to the whole...well..SC is set in Middle Ages...Yoda and Vader are kinda...definitely NOT Middle Ages? Spawn...okay, could kinda understand...Heihachi...okay, nvm, no explanation there, Link? He lives in a world with a light and dark side and 20 different possible Links. Dark World Portal gone wrong perhaps? @.@

I'm curious what will drag Jedi Knights into the Middle Ages.

The 8-way run system will still be there, and it'll be "improved" apparently.

I liked Spawn, he had good moves but was pretty hard to use, bit like Ivy really. Link was a big hax character, bombs and arrows what a cheat! And that Tekken guy... well, Tekken sucks, 'nough said :P

The console specific characters didn't really have a plot that tied in with the swords in SC2 so Vader and Yoda probably won't have much to do with them either. I've heard Vader will be for PS3 and Yoda for 360.

And if you didn't notice, most of the unlocked characters in SC2 were basically the same as starting characters (same goes for SC1) :P There were some slight differences between Cassandra and Sophitia but their style is essentially the same.

Well, that explains Shane "Sony" Bettenhausen's comment on Friday's 1up Yours about how Yoda won't infect his console.

As a fan of Soul Calibur and a owner of a 360 hearing that Vader is PS3 exclusive hurt. On that same show the guys hinted that the "exclusive" characters may be timed exclusive and could be made available for download for free or a nominal fee from XBLM and PSN Store.

I hope so because I would prefer to have Vader to goof around with.

Yoda is the man! He's proper kung fu! I would like to have Vader as well though :(
