I was watching a friend play Megaman a few weeks ago, and he was going back over the same spots to collect energy. I quipped up with: "How long are you going to farm that energy?"

I went to pick out some peaches in the grocery store today, and this chick stepped in front of me and grabbed some of the riper ones I had my eye on. I picked some decent peaches, then walked back to my husband grumbling about "the peach camper."
This past spring, I was riding OSU's bus to campus, and I saw a group of high school students being led on a tour of the university. I couldn't help but think, "Heh, newbs."

Try using this one when driving and a cop pulls up behind you and brings up the sirens...
"We got aggro'd! Zone! Zone!!!"

I wouldn't trrry that you know. Cops link and soon you will have a trrrain of them. Plus their Bind ability is nasty too.

Yesterday I was grocery shopping and camped the milk aisle. I later explained to my mom the concept of being aggro'd.

Oh alright...heh:
Code: Select all
<Syine> I've only been in Walmart three times.
<Syine> One of the times, I saw the strangest thing.
<Syine> I was standing down an aisle, and...a jar of spaghetti sauce fell from the shelf, unprovoked.
<Syine> Nobody was near it.
<Kopopo> aggro?
<Phelisia> other side of the shelf
<Syine> Heh.
<Syine> And it broke and made a mess, of course.
<Kopopo> it was an aggro!
<Syine> The creepy thing was...within about 30 seconds, three employees from different areas of the store all converged on the broken jar.
<Phelisia> yeah... that happens at a well run store
<Phelisia> when i worked there, i was one of those three... (cept it was usually just me)
<Syine> It was like...you know those Warner Bros. cartoons about homes of the future, with the automatic robot that shoots out the panel in the door and cleans up the mess?
<Syine> It was like that.
<Phelisia> yeah... scary...
<Golddess> heh
<Syine> Although I like the idea of an aggro jar of sauce.
<Syine> Heheh.
<Syine> "Rar! The NM Rumbling Ragu attacks!"
<Golddess> rofl
<Kopopo> Rumbling Ragu uses Splash on Syine.
<Golddess> *no effect*
<Golddess> (spash is what Magikarp in Pokémon use, right?)
<Kopopo> (I think so... been too long)
<Kopopo> (and that's just sad that you'd know :P)
<Syine> Syine is now delicious. (Effect: Enemies smell you from a greater distance)
<Kopopo> O.o
* Kopopo casts Water on Syine.
* Golddess wonders if Syine is now a pizza, or if she is just pretending like Tora was last night
<Syine> Heh.
<Kopopo> Tora thought she was a pizza?
<Syine> No, see...Ragu splashed me.
<Syine> Now I have the status effect of Deliciousness
<Syine> Then it wears off. "Syine is no longer delicious"
<Kopopo> heh
<Syine> I have all these great parody ideas. I wish I had the skill to actually turn them into a game.

Stuff ALWAYS jumps off the shelves at me at Wal-Mart. One time, about 10-15 bedspreads in plastic bags fell off the top shelf and onto me.

Heh, I remember that Syine.
As for the topic at hand...
You know you've been playing too much FFXI when ...
... You try using FFXI logic when selling items on eBay.

When you spend more time editing all those Mithran Rrrs out of your out of game writing than it took to type it in the first place.
My best friend and I are both hard core Mithra Role Players on Garuda. When out of the game and typeing, we both have to remove a lot of extra Rs. Amusingly enough, she types at work.

lol.. I knew I would have that problem with extra r's, so I only use them when under the influence of catnip. ^.~

Yea, gotta watch those Rrr's.
You play too much FFXi when you are thinking about going to the bank to withdraw some gil, rather than money.
Sadly, I've done this.. and what's worse is I said it aloud. "I'm gonna run to the bank to get some gil..."
my associates were perplexed. I was embarrased.
You also know you play too much FFXI when you do these silly things.. then post about it on your linkshell's forum

Okay, now that is disturbing... I've never said I needed gil in rl, and I play more than you. lol
I did wish I could make an apple pie with a crystal and some apples though.. I'm hungry ; ;

Don't say that... _-_;
It's actually not that difficult to do, as I said where I was going while I was mid-thought about some things I had put up for auction.. and my multi-tasked proccesses seemed to get mixed up.
thinking 'when I get back I should check my moghouse delivery to see how much...'
whilst saying I was going to the bank to withdraw...
Just got the words gil/money crossed. not a common error... but certainly an embarrasing one, no less.
Oh well. Let the good times roll!
