After realizing that a computer good enough for FFXI isn't good enough for today I asked our resident Hardware Guru Tivia (shameless plug) for guidance.

Well the stuff got here while I was out of town. When I returned and opened the boxes, my 28 YO techie roomie was all OMG!! This is so hot!! Then he looked up the benchmarks on the vid card....

Then he checked the price.

Tivia, you could have charged $20 - $50 Personal Shopper fees and I would have STILL come in cheaper than Fry's.

My other roomie may wish your advice too. Hint: she has more to spend than I.

Why I wuv my 360: No hardware upgrades.

Well, if you wanted you could make your 360 give you the RROD and get one of the new Falcon units.

Besides a bigger HDD and an HD-DVD player

The 360 will become obsolete eventually, PCs just keep getting upgraded (unlike lolMacs where you have to buy a new one).

Just finished Dynamis - Bastok with the new machine.

NO LAG!!!!!
