The following is just a handful of the additions and adjustments planned for the next version update:

New Missions

The next episode in the Treasures of Aht Urhgan mystery is about to unfold. What role does the "mystery knight" play in this epic tale?

Chocobo Raising & Racing

Issues with text display during chocobo races will be addressed. In addition, players will now be able to receive condensed updates from trainers, as well as give multiple servings of feed to their chocobos at once.

Transportation

- Aht Urhgan
New NPCs have been stationed in Bastok, San d'Oria, and Windurst offering teleportation to Aht Urhgan Whitegate. A small fee is planned for the service.

- Choco-gals
Choco-gals will now offer chocobo rentals from the teleport crystals in the Eastern Altepa desert and the Yhoator Jungle, as well as from the leypoint in the WaENom Woodlands

- Outpost Teleportation
The level restriction on players allowed to use the outpost teleportation services located in Bastok, Windurst, and San d'Oria will be lowered. In conjunction with this change, a fee adjustment is also being considered.

What's bothering you about the chocobo whistle? The fact we can't use it in places where we can't use chocobos anyway?

The bit you quoted isn't talking about that....

The text issue in the Chocobo Racing is in cutscenes- sometimes the "Chocobo Racing" title, "1,2, 3 START" and "GOAL" text is oversized for the screen and cut off, so I'm guessing that's what they're (finally) going to fix.

A lot of chocobo breeders have been asking for shorter status recaps on their birds and to be able to either feed the bird directly from the care menu or at least be able to give them multiple carrots/greens at once.

If you mean the comment where we'll now be able to rent chocos from the Jungle and Altepa crystals- I don't think that makes the whistle useless. There'll still be times when its more convient to use the whistle then run to the crystal for a choco and cost wise- rental birds have always been cheaper than the whistle, SE fixed how the rental prices were calculated before the whistle came out.

I know its silly to be angered by this.... but it was one of the reason I send so much on raising a good chocobo...well other then raceing

Eh, don't worry about it.

I don't think it'll make that much of a difference unless you habitually use those particular tele's. The one in Yhaotor is way the hell in the back of beyond although it is pretty close to the OP, but if I'm in the jungles unless I grab one in Norg or Kazzie I'd just use the whistle still.

The Altepa one is really in a bad position too. It's not that close to the zone from Korrokola or to the western side and its clear on the other side of the freaking map from the OP. If I want a chocobo in those places-I want a chocobo and not have to run 3/4s of the way to my location to get one in the first place.

Hell, by the time you run from the Korroloka zone to the crystal to get a choco and then go to the zone- you would already have zoned and be most of the way to Rabao- and that's if you were walking it.

Its a nice option that's all. Personally, even if I'm at one of the crags I usually use my whistle anyway. If I put the whistle on before teleporting, its ready to go when I show up at the crag so I can just trigger it and go. No having to jump down, run to the NPC and go through that conversation- and I get to show off my black baby^^

FINALLY!!!

No more boat rides to Aht Urghan when I accidentally change my homepoint. I would like to see a tele-Taru in Jeuno, though for Aht Urghan.
