So Im outside and chilling in Valkurm dunes Minding my own business and enjoying the wonderful view, when suddenly bam. Some ass-hat shoots an arrow at me. A friggin arrow for no reason whatsoever. So I go over to clobber him while he runs and then it happens. I get jumped by 5 more of his buddies. I hate those pesky adventurers. So I respawn and I roamed Valkurm Dunes for about 10 mins when I find their Little Camp. My buddy had just got shot with an arrow as well and it looks like he was starting to get his butt kicked. Seeing this as my chance for revenge, I assist him as we stabbed and defeated every last one of the members from that group. Just as I finally got to celebrate our sweet victory, some super powerful warrior hops off of a Chocobo. I checked him and he rated Impossible to Gauge to me. Just looking at the Guys armor gave me the chills. So I pretended to not see him, and casually walked away. Apparently this guy some sort of High Lvl Paladin, because he was able to raise one of the party members. Soon as the adventurer told him who snuffed his party the Paladin came charging right at me. I tried to run but I wasn't fast enough. With 5 hits of his Blade I was done for.... Man what a crappy day. Better luck in the dunes Tomorrow I suppose.

Very detailed...but ya forgot one thing: a full in-depth account of how the lil Gobbie went after the mages first, preferably the whm and blm. But other than that, down to the bone depiction of my last year playing FFXI, I was at the dunes with Larx more times then I care to remember. And all I saw every day...Gobs of Gobbie mischief, sand, more sand, and, oh yeah, death.

Yummmmm.... Valrim sand, so gritty and crunchy. I so prefer the cool refreshing snow of Qufim.

Just try not to die in yellow snow.

Much better than the hot, dry, dusty sand in Altep... and watch out for those dhamel patties...
