I didnt see a art section here anywhere So I thought I would make one if there is one already please redirect me anyways..I draw a little but not very often..only when I feel like it lol anyways...heres a couple of drawings I did a few weeks before I quit the Sylph server... one is of me and my b/f Zakath...


and then this one is of my.......ex.....I suppose you could say ...kinda miss him though...least he wasnt a jerk


anyways..I'm not very good at them and I know the one of me and Zakath is kinda messed up I've been criticized on it already lol but I still like it so there they are

*Claps and grins.* Awesome! ^.^ I'm not sure if there is a better place for this. I know there is a gallery function for all members, but when someone posts something there, there's no way for anyone to realize it unless they are in the habbit of searching the galleries constantly.

Great job on the pictures too, the perportions I think you nailed spot on, looking at the Mithra's hips and the Elvaan's shoulders and neck especially.

I go through periods where I do nothing but sketch- then I won't pick up a sketch book for months. The Fan art contest during the Doll Festival had me sketching again.

lol I have another pic I did of my character...I used an anime picture as a reference for this one so its kinda more animeish but for the most part its Miyakia with her hair down...its basically my character of how I imagined her looking hope you like it

You guys need to learn how to use photoshop

Since you're all sharing, I have shown this before but it was a while ago so here it is again

My photoshop skills are very sub-par. My efforts there are nothing to show off.

I sketch to relax from time to time and simply scanned these onto my PC. Beyond resizing and some minor editing for stray pencil marks they're untouched. /shrug

I don't have photoshop everything I do is by hand and then scanned...I do all of my art on notebook paper so I do go into paint (usually) and clean up around the edges :p but other than that I dont alter them because I don't have a program that would let me do it properly

I guess not but I think it was implied. Should check out the FFXI Fanart section of KI, some very tallented artists there that make my stuff look like a 5yr old's finger painting.

this one has a bit of a daft story to it. my friend is a big bob dylan fan, and as he was browsing ebay, found someone selling a copy of his latest album, Modern Times, but with an amusing typo on one of the songs. Nettie Moore had become Nettie Moose. and so this drawing was born.

on a more FF note...



bit of a mixed media thing i tried with some FF9 illustrations. Can't remember the character's name off the top of my head, but it's the oglop card player in FF9 who flies the airship (i think, been a while since i've played it)

Nah I wasn't actually implying to stick to FFXI lol those were just the only pics of mine I have scanned lol anyways....I'm confused on the whole...moose thing....but you drew it well and I love the other art ...did you actually paint it?

well there is a song called Nettie Moore. Someone on ebay made a typo and it became Nettie Moose.

and yeah the other one is a painting, but it's mixed media. after i had completed the painting i took some chalk pastels over the top to create the effect of Mist. Think it was Gouache or Watercolour i used.
