Am I the only one who doesn't think of Maat as a villain? He makes me think of Mr Miyagi from Karate Kid... or Master Po from the old David Carradine Kung Fu series... "When you can snatch this pebble from my hand, you will be ready."
Few feelings can compare to beating Maat. I hope I'm 1/2 as awesome as him when I reach his age. ^.^
EDIT: I was wrong. It was Master Kan not Master Po who delivered those famous words: "Grasshopper, as soon as you are able to grab the rock from my hand you may leave the temple. . . ." Here's his picture:

Of course it was. It used to take all of 6 hits under Asuran Fists to kill a RDM with Stoneskin up. Now it takes five.

Somethings wrong when I hear RDMs have solod gods but have the hardest time with Maat. *Reaches for RDM testimony in storage to give the old man a re-visit.*
Maat takes a look at Mits' Joyeuse and grins. "Nice lil toothpick you got there, kitten. You plan on scratchin' my back with that? How thoughtful! I've got this itch right between my shoulder blades I just can't reach. Would you be so kind?" *Turns and points.*

I am still 0/7 on Maat. Then I took a vacation from the game, and im rustier than ever. Not to mention 4 more of my friends just beat him. I just can't see how anyone can win that fight. I have +29 INT and went in on darksdays and still absolutely nothing stuck on him. It happens every time. Even go in naked every time as well. Might just say screw it and kill him with my Dark Knight. Id like to do endgame one day as well....
