.hack//G.U., if you enjoy .hack, is a great great game. It managed to rip me straight away from both FFXI and FFXII for 47 hours easy. And I still have extras to unlock. *runs off*

That will buy you one HELL of an evening in L. A., San Fransisco, or New York City. Or no less than five Republican Congressmen.

I would have killed to go to Okinawa while I was in the service... I spent the whole of my time in scenic Ft. Bragg, NC

It's weather was out of control, which is saying a lot considering I live in New England. Not to mention it was as visually appealing as a wart. When the Army chose that location in NC it must have been because nobody else wanted it...

Yea, pretty much. Although to be fair, the military does have some prime locations in Hawaii, Florida, California and over seas. All the bases in Korea are really coveted by the Korean gov't for industrial development. Especially Yongsan Garrison, which is in the heart of Soeul.
Unfortunately for the Korean Gov't, they have to pay for any relocation of any US base, and the cost of moving Yongsan is close to $200 Million USD. So, the US Military is stuck in down town Soeul- less then a mile from all the prime shops, bars and clubs.
It's tragic

Fr. Bragg is fugly, my sympathies. I had the "pleasure" of driving up that way one sunny weekend in May a few years ago- one of my husband's friends in the 82nd was getting married on post.
Where are you in NE Igihsterhr? I'm in lakes region of New Hampshire.

And next time you have to go overseas, head for Iwakuni. I spent 3 years there. its much better than Oki
