So I finally got that payraise I was promised (And its retroactive

) So I did what any irresponsible nerd would do: I bought a ton of Final Fantasy games!
Here's the list of what I bought:
Final Fantasy I&II Dawn of Souls
Final Fantasy IV Advance
And I preordered in full for the following:
Final Fantasy V Advance
Final Fantasy III DS
Final Fantasy XII
Children of Mana (Its close enough)
And...the Coup de Grace...Final Fantasy XI for 360 for $2.99! Yes, $2.99! It was at Wal-Mart mis-priced and they gave it to me for $2.99. I guess I'll give it to my roommate's friend. He's been talking about getting into FFXI.

Yeah, I just called him and told him that he would get to try FFXI for a month for $0 total and he was so excited. He'd been looking all over for a copy and getting the game and a month for free is his kinda price. (I wasn't gonna charge him $3)
I'm loving having FFI, II, and IV on the go and I can't wait for the rest of the games to come in. From what I have heard I will be done with the games I have now by the time the others get in.
I think the guy at EB was worried that I was gonna ask for a PS3

You make me so happy, for you to be playing the most current verisions of these old-school games. (to bad they arent the original versions) Now you just have to wait for ff6 to come out for whatever gameboy version they decide to have it for.

I've had I&II on GBA for a while, didn't really like either tbh

My complete Final Fantasy/Square game collection:
Old-school Cart's
Final Fantasy
Final Fantasy II U.S.
Final Fantasy III U.S.
Secret of Mana
Secret of Evermore
Chrono Trigger
PS1/2 games
Final Fantasy Origins
Final Fantasy Chronicles
Final Fantasy Anthology
Final Fantasy Tactics
Final Fantasy VII (I don't like it but I wanted a complete collection)
Final Fantasy VIII
Final Fantasy IX
Final Fantasy X
Final Fantasy X-2
Final Fantasy XI (PS2 and Xbox 360)
Parasite Eve
Parasite Eve II (I just unlocked the GunBlade in it last night

)
And add everything in my original post and that's pretty much it. I have all the originals including the fansub of FFIII NES on Rom's. I know I am missing some games, but that list represents pretty much every FF/Square game I have played.
And to think...it all started when I got the original Final Fantasy for Christmas

Your list of games is nearly identicle to mine only exceptions being.
I liked FFVII
I did not like FFIX or FFX2
I also owned Chrono Cross
And of course LOZ

FFVII was awesome! But my favorite was VI (I think) - the one that was released in the US as II originally with the opera scene. Correct me if I have the wrong version number.

Wow you guys make me feel like a FInal Fantasy n00b!!
I'm currently playing FFIV for GBA & I freakin' LOVE IT.
I haven't played through FF7, but I swear, I will one day!!!
My first was 8, which despite what a lot of people say... I liked it a lot. I guess because it was my first FF
After that went to IX...(meh)
Tactics (headache)
X...(pretty graphics)
FF Origins (I & II~ liked 'em!!)
X-2...(found it funny)
I'm okay with not having the originals, because when there is down time @ work or when I'm waiting for the train, I like to have the portable games on me for fun
What is III coming out on? GBA?

hehe just like me. i got my psx and FFVII for christmas. i had no clue what it was about but i'd been hearing the name everywhere. home 30 mins later, 30 mins into the game and i was hooked.
think the only one i'll never complete is Crystal Chronicals. it's hard enough playing it with 2 people, let alone one. it really has to be played with a couple of people. and i dont really know anyone who'd be willing to play it through with me.
my poor GameCube. it sits in a drawer and collects dust.
and how can you not like FFVII? i thought X and X-2 were just awful.
X was playable. but i felt like killing myself playing X-2. i played it through for the sake of completing it. but i hever have played it again, nor do i intend to burn my PS2 by putting that drivvel back into it.
ok, i've had my rant. i'll shut up now.

FFX was a joke, there was 0 challenge to that game. All you can really say about that one was it had pretty graphics.
Played FFX-2 for 10 mins and I couldnt stand any more of the would be Sailor-moon style fightin. lmao.

VI had the opera scene but that was released in the U.S. as III and it is SO GOOD!
As for VII, I never got into the story and by the end of disc 1 I had given up on it.
X and X-2 I love because X has a good story and X-2 is just fun with the dresspheres and boards.

Have you ever played any of the original GB FFs? (FF Legend 1,2,3) Each one was great, 1 and 2 could get very annoying for most people because of the very limited items you get and use throughout the games, but 3 was totally the best one, I highly suggest you try em!
P.S.: I, like most of the rest here, think 7 was the best. ^^ (Loved it enough to name my daughter Aeris)

VII has the best plot ever and after disk 1 it REALLY picks up. Didn't help that I played the game after watching the anime and the movie

FF7 didnt have an anime, there was a ff anime inspired by 5 (i think), and a ff:unlimited that was like a stupid version of alice in wonderland.

It's true! ^^ Aeris Marie Trempe. 5years old and autistic, hardly speaks cuz of it but the programs my mom put her in are working wonders with that. I'll see if I can post a pic if ya want. ^^; (Once I figure out how to even do such a thing, I'm not real internet/forum savvy when it comes to that stuff)

There was a FF7 anime started that I managed to find on Animesuki.com awhile ago, dunno if its there anymore but It was really good. Wished they continued on with it >.>

Just take a JPEG and upload it to PhotoBucket then take the URL they give you and post it here with in front and at the end with no spaces.
It should look like this:
www.yourphoto.com again with no spaces.

I'll believe you find there is one, just an OAV called Last Order. It's about what happened before the game starts pretty much.

Last Order basically elaborates the flashback in FFVII regarding Nibelheim, and it features Zack if I remember. I think that the title is actually referring to Sephiroth's last order as SOLDIER, though..

Wow, quite a few {Final} {Fantasy} collectors here... I suppose I'll disclose a collection of my own.
Final Fantasy (Original US NES release.)
Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls (GBA)
Final Fantasy II (Original US SNES release.)
Final Fantasy IV (Original Japanese Super Famicom Cartridge. (I'm such a nerd))
Final Fantasy IV Advance (GBA)
(I used to have Final Fantasy Origins, Anthology, and Chronicles, but I have no idea where they went. T___T)
Final Fantasy III (Original US release.)
Final Fantasy VII (PC Version.)
Final Fantasy VIII (PS1 Release.)
Final Fantasy IX (PS1 Release.)
Final Fantasy X (PS2 Release.)
Final Fantasy X-2 (PS2 Release. Seconds of fun and excitement.)
Final Fantasy XI for Windows (Of course. xD)
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (GBA)
(And, because they have Final Fantasy characters in them...)
Kingdom Hearts (PS2 Release.)
Kindgom Hearts: Chain of Memories (GBA)
Kingdom Hearts II (PS2 Release.)
...and now for a list of other miscellanious Final Fantasy stuff.
Final Fantasy IV Mini Guide (Japanese Import)
Final Fantasy IV Character and World Bible (Also Japanese Import)
Final Fantasy IV Official Strategy Guide (I got this for the amano art, mostly)
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (DVD)
Final Fantasy VIII Official Strategy Guide
Final Fantasy XI Strategy Guide
Kingdom Hearts Strategy Guide
Kingdom Hearts II Strategy Guide
Who can guess what my favorite Final Fantasy is? xD
IV was actually my very first Final Fantasy, and is my very favorite to this very day. IX comes in a close second, followed by VI, and then VII and so on. Very last is V, boy do I hate that game. D:
