A little bugger just spat radioactive acid on me and I have go to the hospital to check it out.

I just heard a rare NM popped near my homepoint in (area)

My buddy is offering me 1,000,000 gil to PL him for 30 mins.

This party rocks, I feel that I am slowing you all down from being even better.

I have to go do some Promies.

Im doing some Zilart Missions with my ls.

I just heard Godzilla is destroying windurst, I have to go check it out.

The moogle just phoned, it seems we arrre all out of Mithra litterrr, have to rrrun. Bye.

I have used this one. More than once.

Always popular one in my linkshell~ "Linkshell event, Bye" or "OMG..I have to go my linkshell is killing <insertHNMnamehere>"

and for when I'm levelling summoner- "OMG! I need to feed Fenrir and I'm out of fresh Tarus- /goodbye"

For horrible parties (the 1-2k/hr ones), mine is:

Me: Sorry guys, this isn't working. There's a <insert similar job> seeking if you really wanna keep this going.
Leader: Nah, let's just disband.
Everyone else: Ok

Seriously, never get yourself a replacement if you're leaving a bad party with some cheesy excuse. No one deserves to join the mess you just escaped from and waste time, food, taxi gil, sneak oils, one empress charge and a warp scroll, only to find out that suddenly everyone else has to go or has connection problems out when he finally gets there.
I've had that happen to myself so many times that I now decline most replacement invites.

why doint you just use the classics, like...

Because all the teenage boys in the party would spam "/em massages Okuza's toes." (at the very least )

My personal favourites (yet haven't used them) are:

If it's around 2am where you live, no one ever gets upset or questions:

I'm usually too nice to ditch a party even if it is sucking copious amounts of ass not their fault they suck... well yeah it is

If it's really that bad I Alt-Tab fake DC then wait 10-30mins before logging back on, hope they would have moved or broken up

If I get a noob invite I just ignore it and put my flag down, sometimes even put up the Away thing but means I can't join another party for a while

If I get a noob invite or even worse a blind one I'll simply ignore the person who asked me and keep on doing what I was before.

I'll stay in a mediocre party that's at least trying but if its a party where people end up dying on their way to camp repeatedly or when they just. aren't. listening. I'll leave in a heart beat~ and usually not offer to find a replacement.

I honestly don't like finding replacements anyway- I've accepted replacement invites and ended up getting to camp only to have the party break up minutes later too many times to want to do that to anyone else.

I don't want to come off like a jerk even to gimpos and such. They have friends and their friends have friends and before you know it they've networked about you're some sort of leaving-party-with-no-warning-person

Fake DC and yeah they probably assumed you've done so but they won't know for sure, it's a bit cowardly but just the easiest way out.
