Since I am not playing.... I want to see your chocobo pics ^.^ I want to see the cute things and them growing if possible, maybe you riding it one day ^.^ just a though :p

I use a friend's computer to play ff11. My home computer runs on a dialup, and goes at the speed of 22k/sec, has a total HD space of 18 gigabytes, has Windows ME, and uses up more space after you defrag it.

Meh. It's just a different colored Chocobo.... oh look a penny! (walks away)

But the different color proves it is superior in all ways. (tries to make a joke out of that, but i just dont feel like it)



Well anyways, grey cats, especialy Nebelungs, are superior to any other color of cat

meh dont care about superiority. I mean it would be nice if it gave the chocobo some buffs, like moving faster, and dare I say it jumping ablility. If not, if all it is just a different color, then ill stick with buying them from the stables. After all, I bet they will add something more costly like paying massive amounts of gil to keep it happy etc etc. Then again, I take airships and use the warp taru everywhere nowadays anyway. Occasional take a bird to valkurm etc. But hey what am I to say, I havent played in a good month other than a few nips at lvling.

If I can afford it I will get one.

But between idiot parties leaving me with less exp than I started with and costing me 20-30K for food, the fishing bots and Gilsellers destroying my revenue sources, and trying to save up enough to get my Blessed gear through all this I don't see me raising a chocobo anytime soon.

I play on Dialup maybe 20% of the time. Runs a true 33K - 45K / sec.

It isn't THAT bad. Useless for claiming NMs but I suk at NM hunting anyway.

Partying in high lag aeras I shut everything off. In Dynamiss I feel handicapped, but there is ALWAYS massive lag in Dynamiss. Haven't tried a Besiged yet on 56K.

In the Dunes it isn't near as bad as the parties are. I HATE training pullers.

I want a Green Chocobo.

I am hopeing some DRK Terry Prachet fan can somehow get a white Chocobo and name it Binky.

While I'm posting, anyone care to fill me in on how this Chocobo crap works? I mean, whats the advantage of raising a Chocobo?

Try using FRAPS. Easy to use and it places all ur screenshots into a folder onto ur HD. ANd they can be saved in bitmap, JPEG and other formats as well..

This stuff will probably be exspensive. Gausbit has climbed since I last played, 2 years ago. But, eh, you can use other greens I hear.

You dont need that quest to raise chocobos. You just need an egg, and start raising it

Somhow them not letting you name your chocobo doesnt surprise me at all.

They do let you name your chocobo. You just have to wait for it to hatch first.

They are complaining that you cant customize the name. You have to pick from a list of 2 nanes, to come up with the name of your chocobo.

One name not good enough for them they need 2? probably take a week to hatch, we'll see what's available then x_x;;

I guess they are named, like the Taru NPCs, with two names makeing their full name.
