I've seen that on SNL before! What really makes it funny for me is... When my younger brother was little he would pick up our cat and pretend to use her as a gun in a similar way these guys do when holding the real cats!

I didn't find it funny at the time, of course. But no kitties were actually harmed (that I know of).
