I finaly.... after playing since OCT 31 2003.... say I quit

I hateed to make this choice, but I finaly got sick of all the bitching to SE and complaints about stupid stuff that others make (on other forums and in game) I have seen this on other games... but good god not as bad as FFXI -.-

I also just cant take how long it takes to do soemthings anymore

I decided to stick with MORPGs like Diablo II and PSO and when PSU comes out I will be on that, dont worry though, when SE releases their next MMORPG, if you see someone with the name Kailea..... it most probably is me ^.^

Diablo II is like masturbation, and FFXI is like sex. Less effort and meaning is in one, and while the second is more difficult and takes longer, in my mind it's more satisfying.

I've wanted to quit several times during FFXI. But then I look at the story line. For someone who's not yet done with the plot, and who loves plot in general, I'd have to say that's my current biggest draw into FFXI. You just have to find your own reason. What has kept you in the game so far, and what will you be giving up if you leave.

For what it's worth, we'll miss you in game.

Hehe that's an interesting analogy although the satisfaction at the end of FFXI is somewhat lacking

I still have a few goals I see possible, once I've achieved those I'll have to set myself new goals or might find myself quitting again...

I've played both FFXI and D2:LoD till endgame. (70 Dragoon, 91 Druid). And I have to say that FFXI has more possibility, community, interesting quirks, and more things to do in general. If I wanted to do nothing but level grind I'll pull out my D2 cd's. But FFXI is that and more in my opinion.

well D2 was more of an example :p I have played that game to death lol, I am playing PSO right now, untill PSU comes out and I find myself enjoying it all over again, also I am playing WoW on the side, with some friends, but not takeing it to seriously like I did FFXI.

I really don't know you (Which is sad because we were in the same LS for a while and are on the same server) but you will be missed just the same.

My advice is to take a break if needed. If you come back, great. If not, then we'll have the time we spent together.

Basically I, nor anyone else, wants to force you to stay if you're unhappy.

I can't even mull around EP's or DC's without high risk of death. That is just plain wrong, especially for a monk. I would enjoy the 'sex' much more if it didn't require 3 different toys to do.

Your gonna be missed Kailea. I do hope one day I run into you again in another game perhaps. Ill still be Agentblack or Pheonixhawk.

Whatever you try, tell us about it. I will admit to being curious about Eve, Auto Assualt, and Project Entropa. Someday I may try one. I will certainly tell everyone what I think of them if I do.

I agree! I would much rather be able to take 1 to 3 good people with me to accomplish something ingame... As opposed to 5...11...and how ever many it takes to do dynamis
